Thanks to the manufacturerâs original hydrolyzation process and traditional Sanuki-style technique, the noodlesâ chewiness and the aroma of flour are almost the same as you would find with raw udon noodles.
These semi-raw noodles can absorb more water than dried noodles when cooking, so they expand in size with enhanced elasticity, making them tastier and softer.
A bag of this product contains 3 servings of udon noodles. Prepare a large pot and 3 liters of water or more, bring the water to the boil, and add noodles to the pot.
For hot udon with soup, the recommended cooking time is 10 minutes.
For kakeudon (hot noodles with hot broth poured over them), the recommended cooking time is 12 minutes.
For cold udon and bukkakeudon (cold noodles with hot and thick broth poured over them), the recommended cooking time is 15 minutes. After cooking the noodles, rinse them with cold water.
