This soy sauce based seasoning from Fundokin is intended for marinating the chicken before deep-frying it.
The soy sauce is mixed with garlic, ginger, chili pepper and other spices that enrich the chicken.
The recipe comes from Kyushu's Oita Prefecture, one of the chicken karaage meccas in Japan.
Prepare 250g of chicken, 45g of sauce, and around 40g of corn starch.
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, put them into a bowl with the sauce.
Marinate the chicken in the sauce (15 minutes should be enough).
Coat the chicken with the corn starch and deep fry in oil at 180 degree.
