This iron rice cooker is part of Ikenaga's "Ichi" range, in which they're trying to redefine the traditional image of Japan's Nanbu Ironware which has an impression of large, heavy, professional grade cookware, into one where even a single individual can enjoy a luxurious moment by themselves.Â
This 2-cup small rice cooker is made of cast iron, which distributes heat evenly and cooks delicious, fluffy rice. The cedar wood lid allows just the right amount of steam to escape, while providing an elegant aroma as the rice cooks.
Enjoy the manual process of cooking rice the traditional way, with this modern take on classic Japanese ironware.
